Reflect and discuss with a partner..
Is there a part of who you are that doesn't ever change? Your personality, your family role, etc.?
Are there parts of you that can change? Due to circumstances, who's around you, etc.?
Curate means selecting, organizing, and looking after a collection of photos, writings, or other artifacts.
Questions to consider:
How much do you feel influenced by what you see online? From your friends? From "influencers"?
How much of what you post and share online do you feel represents a core or essential part of who you are?
How much do you use your online presence to explore new things or "try on" different ways of being?

People's Instagram posts do not represent their real lives.
They post things that they're not really doing, like pretending to go for a bike ride or eating healthy.
People also misrepresent their friendships and relationships.
"I Have 2 Million Followers but No Friends"
Showing a glamorous and perfect life online can sometimes hide loneliness and sadness in real life.
Only showing beautiful pictures can make others jealous and make it hard for others to relate to them in real life.

We can use avatars to play as different parts of ourselves or to be as we see ourselves.
We can use our online selves to experiment with different types of self-expression.
We can use avatars to help manage our disabilities and confront ableism.
