The team met this week to work on the following:

Produced Medium beta prototype
Produced XS beta prototype

This week, the team made further progress with beta prototypes and prepared for the Phase V presentation.

Week of Mar. 23, 2023

The team met this week to discuss/work on the following:

Finalized the project website
Finalized Phase V Presentation
Conducted tolerance testing with the new material
Produced Slant beta prototype
Produced XS magnetic alpha prototypes

This week, the team created Phase V presentation and finished updating the project website. The team recapped Phase IV and highlighted significant feedback from the Phase IV panel. The team explained their beta/final designs along with their prototypes. The team also made progress with beta prototypes.

Week of Mar. 9, 2023

The team met this week to discuss the following:

Using better materials to print the prototype
Finish adjusting minor connection changes
Start printing final product

The team met this week to discuss another material option for the final product, because the previous alpha prototype material was very fragile. The final designs were being worked on as Solidworks models. In order to create the beta prototype, the team also split the tasks between multiple members to work on converting these to AutoCAD drawings and adding finger joint designs for laser cutting.

Week of Mar. 2, 2023

The team met this week to discuss the following:

Recap with advisor to discuss Phase IV presentation and steps moving forward
Look over feedback from the Phase IV Presentation and implement improvement suggestions
Discuss plans for Phase V
Make necessary changes on the beta prototype

This week the team made changes on the beta prototype based on the feedback from the Phase IV panel. The team adjusted CAD designs to implement the magnet connection.
