Interview Summary: Steven is a San Antonio native and graduated from St. Edward’s in 1970. While he was a student, Steven was active in the campus bowling club. Among his favorite classes was an ecology course taught by Brother Daniel, who took them on field trips to many places around Texas. Steven recalls the first time women were admitted to campus. During his time at St. Edward’s, Steven was a biology and chemistry major and remembers how rigourous the coursework was. He made numerous connections during his time at St. Edward’s and was impressed by how much the campus has grown.
