Interview Summary: Kevin Faherty attended St. Edward’s High School for its last year of operation (1967) and later attended the University for a degree in psychology. When Kevin was on campus nearly one third of the campus faculty and staff were priests, brothers, or nuns. He worked in the psychology field for several years before moving into the private insurance sector. While working as a psychologist, Kevin interned at a facility for the criminally insane. He says the reason he didn’t initially major in business was because those majors were required to wear ties. Kevin is very grateful for his time at St. Edward’s and claims to use the lessons he learned from the Holy Cross every day. Kevin had close relationships with his professors, and even kept in contact with a few after his graduation.
