Colorado Communities: Development of the PYD Tool
Colorado Communities: Development of the PYD Tool
This Positive Youth Development tool was designed by community stakeholders through a partnership between the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and The Colorado Department of Human Services. This tool was developed to foster reflection, discussion, and continuous improvement for youth serving entities.
This tool was co-created with youth and utilizes strength-based, youth-friendly language in order for young people to participate in the evaluation and reflective discussions.
To make the tool user-friendly, this site was developed as a resource for local partners to utilize, share and evaluate how their organizations operationalize PYD.
