Project Changes
Background
The Project Changes record helps users document significant changes during the life-cycle of a project, including changes to the Project Scope.
Access: From the module menu, Records --> Project Changes

Project Changes - Field Guidance
Record Information
Here, you'll select your active PMWeb project for this project changes record.
Your Major/Minor field and RTD APRV Req'd? field selections determine the Workflow path for your Project Changes record, once saved and submitted to Workflow.
2. Change Detail
Document the reason for your change in greater detail here, including the Primary Reason for the change.
A Description of Requested Change is required in this area.
3. Impact Assessment
If your project changes affect your overall project scope for a live project in PMWeb, update the New Scope box with your updated scope.
The Current Scope box auto-populates once the record is saved.
4. Schedule
Determine if any schedule changes will require an extension to the current FHWA End Date. Then select "Not Required", “Pending or Yes” as appropriate.
5. Milestone Updates
Here, project teams will add, edit, and update important milestones related to this Project Change request.
6. Construction Expenditures
Here, you can document any changes to your planned expenditures with the provided fields.
Select the checkbox if your expenditure changes meet PD703 requirements.
Project Changes Tabs & Reporting
Once your Project Changes record is saved in PMWeb, a number of record tabs appear for use and Workflow processes. These include:
Notes: document and save any notes related to this Project Changes record.
Attachments: Attach any documents related to your Project Changes in the Attachments tab. These will live with this record in the PMWeb ecosystem.
Workflow: Once you are ready to submit your Project Changes for review and/or approval, you'll use the Workflow tab.
Notification: Send notifications to other PMWeb users, sharing your Project Risks record as needed.
2. Project Reporting is available in each record, by clicking the chevron to the right of your print button, and then selecting BI Reporting.
