Background
The Funding Record process in PMWeb serves to standardize and streamline the way fund sources and subsequent changes are tracked.
PMWeb Access: Navigation Bar > Costs > Funding Record
Available reports: Funding Pool Change Log; Region Pool Funding
Job Aids
Record Guidance
In the Main tab, users may need to fill out the following fields:
Funding By: Select "Region" in the bubble list, then select "Statewide" in the dropdown menu to the right.
Year: Leave “Year” blank. This information will be completed in the detail lines allowing for multi-year funding of the specific fund source.
Source: Choose a source from the predefined drop-down list, for example, SUR for Surface Treatments.
Description: Enter a description for the record.
Category: Choose Participating or Non-Participating from the drop-down list.
In the Main tab table, users may need to fill out the following fields:
Year: Fiscal Year you are applying funds
Source: Auto populates based on ‘Source’ selected in Header
Planning Allocation: Auto calculates based on amounts entered in “Add FY Funds” & “Deduct FY Funds”
Add FY Funds: The amount allocated to the fund source for the fiscal year. The Planning Allocation will be updated with the amount entered in this field. Use this field to enter the original funding amount for the year and to make necessary increase changes to the funding amount for the same year
Deduct FY Funds: The amount deducted from the fund source for the fiscal year. The Planning Allocation will be updated with the amount entered in this field. Use this field to make decreased changes to the funding amount for the said year (Do not use negative numbers)
Region Priority: Ensures the priority of funds allocated to the region that aligns with stakeholder goals
Changes: Text field to capture a summary of change
Notes: Provide notes related to the amounts entered
