Estimate Request (1065)
Background
The Estimate Request record enables Project Managers to digitally complete an Estimate Request and submit it to the estimating team. Once an Estimator produces an Estimate, they will (1) attach the Estimate document to the record in the Attachments tab, and (2) approve the record in the Workflow tab.

The Process
Step 1: Project Manager Submits an Estimate Request Form
A Project Manager will fill out an Estimate Request Form for an Estimator to look at. Project Managers should:
Create a new Estimate Request record
Fill in the "Project," and "Project Work Type" fields in the record header
Enter the Estimate Request details
Add any attachments in the Attachments tab if needed
Submit the record to workflow so that an Estimator can provide an estimate
Step 2: An Estimator Assigns and Approves an Estimate Request Form
When an Estimator is available, they will go into PMWeb and assign the record to themselves. Then, they will proceed to review it and provide their input. Lastly, they submit their workflow. Estimators should:
Assign the record to themselves
Fill in the "Reviewed By," "Reviewed Date," and "File Date" fields in the record header
Attach an Engineer's Estimate in the Attachments tab
Approve the record
