Communication Plan
Background
Communication Plan records provide an area to document communication plans related to a project, including the recipient of communication, a time frame for communication plans, and a responsible party. Within this record, users can also collaborate with other PMWeb users for input and review. The Communication Plan is incorporated into the Project Delivery Plan (PDP).
Access: From the module menu, Records --> Communication Plan

Communication Plan - Field Guidance
Relate your Communication Plan record to a Project in PMWeb with the Project field.
A Subject is also required to save the record.
Once your Project and Subject fields are populated, click Save in your record header to save the record and relate it to your chosen project.
3. Once your Communication Plan record is saved, you document your Communication Details in the provided table by first clicking the +Add button.

4. Your saved record also presents additional tabs, including Notes, Attachments, Collaboration, and Notifications.
Collaborating on a Communications Plan Record
To begin collaboration, click to open your Collaborate tab.
Then, click the +Add button in your Collaboration table to begin the collaboration process.
3. In the Collaboration pop-up window, use the Request Collaboration drop down field to select your collaborator/s.
4. Select the permissions for your collaborator/s with the provided radio buttons.
5. Add a Due Date and Message, as needed.
6. Click the Save and Send (top left) icon to submit your collaboration request to your selected users.
7. When your collaborator/s receive a system generated notification request, they visit your Communication Plan record and navigate to the Collaborate tab to complete the collaboration process.
Here, they add a comment and/or attachment, select Review, and click Save to complete the collaboration.
8. A log of your collaboration on this record appears towards the bottom of the Collaboration tab for this record.
