The MAC gives member voice in COA projects and programs. MAC members give COA new ways to think about member education, member needs, service challenges, and how COA works with community partners. The MAC ensures that COA programs and services are member-reviewed and member-driven.
Our mission is to help parents learn how to navigate the educational school system, understand their rights and responsibilities as parents, and discover how to improve parenting styles through inclusive parenting and multiple intelligences.
A Child’s Song nurtures an appreciation for music while providing programs and education to share the developmental, healing, and social-emotional benefits of music for children and adults.
These committees engage a broad range of local stakeholders—including Colorado Access members and families—in high-level strategy within the topics of physical and behavioral health. These committees provide guidance and make recommendations to Colorado Access on how to improve health, access, cost, and member and provider satisfaction within the regions we serve.
Our mission is to empower communities with accessible leadership development training that provides skills and social connections for community members from all backgrounds to be effective change agents. We promote leadership development, civic capacity-building, and equity in all policies.
Refugees + Immigrants United (RIU) is a Colorado-based coalition of refugee and immigrant advocates with direct lived and professional expertise committed to connecting, educating, and the public on the experiences and perspectives of refugees and immigrants and celebrating our communities. A refugee founded and refugee led group with the mission to empower refugee communities and educate the community at-large through events and educational initiatives while preserving and showcasing refugee cultural heritage.
The Black Family Advisory Council (BFAC) collaboratively creates a platform to empower families of Black DPS students to ensure informed decisions are being made that positively impact our students through advocacy, information, and active community engagement. BFAC includes Black students, their families, staff, and community members across the district.
