Las Familias

• Mission Statement: Las Familias Mission- Help parents learn how to navigate the educational school system, understand their rights and responsibilities as parents, and discover how to improve parenting styles through inclusive parenting and multiple intelligences. 

• Time Commitment: 6 courses total, 2 hours per session. We offer English classes after class when we have extra time, in person format- looking to expand to a hybrid version to encourage more participants. Currently working with the following school districts: Westminster, Denver, Greeley, Grand Junction, Alamosa, Pueblo.    

• Membership Criteria:

  • Spanish Speaking Families that have children in K-12 education. We encourage all partners to take the course together if possible. 

• Compensation: Not compensated or reimbursed.
