Saint Patrick was born in 387 AD in what is now modern-day Scotland. His father's name was Calpurnius and mother's name was Conchessa. As a child Patrick was a miracle worker and that was when his loved ones knew that he was a special child sent from God. At the age of 16 he was captured by King Niall and his Raiders. He was then brought back to Ireland to be a slave. He spent six years in Ireland as a herdsmen until God led him to freedom. When he returned home, he was ordained and made a bishop. He went back to Ireland and converted many people to Christianity
