Saint Francis Xavier (Ian)

Francis Jassu y Xavier was born on April 7, 1506 in Xavier Castle. He was a nobleman who was born into a life of plenty but gave it up for Jesus He attended the University of Pairs and met Ignatius of Loyola. Francis and Ignatius founded the Order of Jesus known as the Jesuits. Francis preached in India and converted many people to the way of Jesus. He was a great person who is not as well known as Francis of Assisi. That is why I chose him to be my Confirmation saint.
