Saint Joseph (Ryan O.)

Patron Saint of the Universal Church

St. Joseph was born in Bethlehem and lived in Nazareth. He was the husband of Mary and father of Jesus. Joseph was very devoted to God and did whatever God told him to do. He was the best father and husband he could be. He was declared patron saint of the universal church by Pope Pius IX in 1870.
