Fire

The City of Spencer Fire Department employs 5 full time firefighters, including the Fire chief, as well as depends on the efforts of 25 paid on call firefighters.

Local Option Sales Tax receipts are the major source of funding for these proejcts. Additional sources of funding are identified on a specific project by project basis as needed.
