Moving Drill, and Home Position

Follow this video to help guide you through the steps below

• Press Green “Carve…” button in Easel (Top right hand corner of your screen)
  • If it's not green, that means the power strip is not turned on!
• Place sticky note on bottom left hand corner of material
• Use arrow keys to get the drill on (0,0) (bottom left hand corner of the material, see picture below for view of machine and material). This is the starting position of the drill. Click on the up and down arrows on the computer (Z) to move the drill lower onto the sticky note until it presses the note against the material
  • (0,0) is the home position
  • To move quicker set it to 1 inch when lowering the drill, set it to point 0.01 inches to get a better accuracy
  • NOTE: The home position is the center of the drill bit, not the edge of the bit!
  • Make sure to put it at 0.01 inches before moving on
