Materials needed:
- 17mm wrench
- 13mm wrench
- Desired bit size
Follow these steps to change the current bit:
Follow these steps to change the current bit:
In your least dominant hand, hold the 17mm wrench. Put the circular end of it up through the drill bit till it locks in place with the black dial. (see picture to the right)
In your dominant hand hold the 13mm wrench and put it into the slots above the black dial. (see picture to the right)
To loosen the bit from the drill, pull your hands apart from each other. Repeat until the black dial is loose enough for you to pull the bit out
Stick the butt of the new bit into where it is suppose to go. Twist it with your hands to loosely secure it in place.
Then using the same wrenches in the same hands as they were before, twist your hands towards each other to tighten it. Repeat until it is tight.
To put bit away grab one of the empty boxes with the black bottom, pull them apart and stick the butt of the bit into the middle of the black bottom. Then place the clear box back on top of it. (see pictures below)
Make sure to clean up and put all the materials away!
