Mission Statement and Objectives: STL Village is a non-profit membership organization whose mission is to bring choice to people age 50+ who want to continue living with enjoyment and confidence in their own home and reside in the neighborhoods within the borders of Page Boulevard, Vandeventer Boulevard, Clayton Avenue, and Big Bend Boulevard.

Students should plan to view the calendar of events for StL Village to plan their 5 site visits (available online or from Madeline). The schedule for site visits should be developed at the initial site visit ; discuss these opportunities with your site coordinator Madeline.

Programs
Friendly Visitor: This volunteer visits in person or by telephone our less ambulatory members. Volunteers have conversations with members,play games, and provide companionship.
Technology Assistant: This volunteer provides basic technology assistance either in the Village Office or in our members homes. The assistance can include help with smartphones, computers, printers, etc.
Remote opportunities include:
Friendly calls to our older adult clients
Providing technical support (website, etc.)
Design flyers for events

Parking: Park in the lot west of the church.
Where to Meet: Use the entrance under the black awning and press the buzzer marked "STL Village". The office is on the lower level which is accessed on the elevator.
