Akash Vidyadharan is a PhD student in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering. He currently holds three degrees in the field of Aerospace and Systems Engineering from Iowa State University, including a BS is Aerospace Engineering (2016), MS in Aerospace Engineering (2017) and M.Eng in Systems Engineering (2017). 

He has business and industry work experience for 5 years as the Founder & CTO of InfraLytiks, where he led research, development and the launch of multiple AI software-based platforms for clients from various industries such as insurance, renewable energy, construction and defense. He joined the Chrome Lab at SLU in Fall 2022 and will focus on research topics of mobile and drone-based 3D LiDAR mapping, computer vision and associated algorithm development.
