CHROME Lab hosts a 2-hour workshop for local high school students about human factors in engineering as a part of SLU's STEM Immersion Camp event. Thank you to our awesome students for organizing and running this workshop! Wilfredo Robinson, Maya Dunlap, Colton Doherty, Nicolas Prudencio, Akash Vidyadharan, Ari Howitz, and Natalie Newman deserve all the credit!

CHROME Lab, in conjunction with PhET Interactive Solutions and EDRL were accepted into the VITAL Prize Challenge Discovery Round to expand out The Quad Project into TeleTangibles!

MARCH 9TH, 2023
Dr. Jen Tennison and Dr. Jenna Gorlewicz, with special help from CHROME Masters student Colton Doherty, have been awarded internal seed funding from the SLU Presidential Research Fund to investigate and prototype “WHIMS” - a wearable haptic device to promote student wellbeing and improve student mental health practices.

Congratulations to Dr. Jenna Gorlewicz & collaborators for being awarded an NSF Convergence Accelerator Phase 1 grant, "Bridging the Fragmentation of Information Access — An Integrated, Multimodal System for Inclusive Content Creation, Conversion, and Delivery"! The convergence accelerator brings together leaders from industry, nonprofits, and academia to achieve long-lasting societal impact.
