Wilfredo J. Robinson M.

Wilfredo J. Robinson M. received his BSc. in Electromechanical Engineering from the Technological University of Panama in 2017 and his MSc. Double Degree in Autonomous Systems (emphasis: Data Science) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and EURECOM (France) in 2021. 

Wilfredo worked as a Field Electrician and Instrumentalist in 2017 in CEMEX, and as a Product Manager and Product Application Engineer at Schneider Electric from 2017 to 2019. After receiving his MSc., he worked as the Lead Research Engineer in the project “Tsunami Risk Assessment with AI-Assisted Simulations”, a joint project between the Principality of Monaco and EURECOM, from 2021 to 2022. He also supervised six MSc. students for their respective semester projects during this time.

Wilfredo’s current research interests span Artificial Intelligence and Data Science applied to Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, human-computer interaction, and increasing the accessibility of daily-use devices for people with disabilities.  When he is not researching, his time is spent gaming, playing soccer, discussing existential concepts through anime, and going out with friends.
