Google Meet is a video conferencing app and part of G Suite for Education. Google Meet is used by schools to connect virtually.
Students can easily join a video meeting on a computer by using a "Meet Lookup Link" they can find on their Classroom page, or in their Google Calendar, or elsewhere. Those links look something like this, with the word "lookup" inside: https://meet.google.com/lookup/awyjrtyz6z.
Lyceum Prep Classroom Meet sessions are open to students using their @slprep.org email accounts. It is possible to join a meeting with a different account, but teachers need to be expecting it and grant access.
Students need a computer or smart phone (with the Google Meet app) that has video, microphone and audio to participate fully in class meetings.
Students NEED to allow access to their computer's camera and microphone. They will be prompted to allow access the first time they connect. They should look for those pop-up windows.

The videos below show how to use Google Meet in many ways. The first is in English, the second in Spanish. However, Meet is always changing and adding new features, so it might not show everything.
