It is with great enthusiasm that we want to welcome you and your child to our school family. We are honored and feel privileged that you have given us the opportunity to partner with you in a collective effort to make our students aspirations and dreams a reality.
Our goal is to exceed your expectations in every way, every day. As part of that effort, we have been reaching out to each and every one of our families to discuss every individual student's customized learning plans (PLPs).
The PLP will be the tool that we will utilize to identify our students’ academic goals, strengths and weaknesses and the corresponding plan to help close academic achievement gaps. Also, the PLP discussion will allow us to engage in deeper level conversations with parents about their children’s individual needs beyond the academic ones.
As stated earlier, we want for you and your families to know that we are committed to your children’s academic success but also to their success as productive members of our society who will gain the ability to positively impact their communities and the world.
Finally, we truly hold dearly to the belief that every child can learn and achieve their maximum potential if we work together as one to provide them with the necessary support. Please, do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything you need for us to be aware of or that we may need to assist you with to achieve this goal.
In these trying times, we remain positive that we will be able to overcome and achieve at high levels the type of progress and learning needed to help students perform at those higher levels despite the challenges of the times. With your help, we shall overcome!!!

Es con gran entusiasmo que les extendemos la bienvenidas a todos ustedes y a sus estudiantes nuestra familia escolar. Nos sentimos honrados y privilegiados por habernos extendidos la oportunidad de colaborar con ustedes en este esfuerzo colectivo para ayudar a convertir en realidad todas las metas y aspiraciones de nuestros estudiantes.
Nuestra meta es llenar y exceder todas las expectativas que sus familias tengan todos los días de todas las formas posibles. Como parte de este esfuerzo, miembros de nuestro equipo han estado contactando a todas nuestras familias para hablar sobre los planes individualizados de apoyo (PLP) para nuestros estudiantes.
Los PLPs será la herramienta que utilizaremos para identificar las fortalezas y debilidades académicas de nuestros estudiantes junto con el plan correspondiente de apoyos para cerrar brechas académicas. Además, durante las conversaciones sobre los PLPs los padres tendrán la oportunidad de profundizar y compartir inquietudes y preocupaciones que tengan sobre sus estudiantes con respecto a aspectos académicos y socio-emocionales.
Como hemos expresado anteriormente, queremos que sepan que nuestro compromiso con sus estudiantes va más allá de lo académico sino que también el compromiso es con su éxito como futuros miembros productivos de nuestra sociedad quienes tendrán las herramientas en sus manos para lograr impactar de una manera positiva a sus comunidades y al mundo.
Por otra parte, creemos fielmente que todos los estudiantes pueden desempeñarse en un alto nivel académico siempre y cuando trabajemos juntos y se le provea al estudiante todo el apoyo necesario. Mientras tanto, no duden en contactarnos con cualquier preocupación que tengan con respecto a sus estudiantes para poder lograr las metas aquí establecidas.
Finalmente, a pesar de los momentos tan difíciles que estamos pasando durante esta pandemia, estamos confiados que en Lyceum podremos sobrellevar y superar expectativas a pesar de los retos que nos enfrentamos. Juntos lo lograremos!!!
