Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz is a 2011 musical based on the 1939 film of the same name, with a book adapted by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jeremy Sams, and historically a favorite of the Drama Club. This title refers to:

• The Wizard of Oz - a 2018 24-hour production directed by Stephen ZagRodny and Augusta Holyfield, starring Penny DellaPelle as Dorothy

• The Wizard of Oz - a 2022 revival directed by Noelle Eben, starring Emilia Gambucci as Dorothy

Wizard of Oz (2022) is the first revival production by SLOHS occurring within four years of the original, and thus the first opportunity for actors to participate in the same production twice. Two actors in the revival also participated in the 2018 show: Stella McSween (ensemble, 2018; Munchkin Barrister, 2022) and Zoë Bartholomew (ensemble, 2018; Glinda, 2022).
