About

Linnaea Marks is an American actress, graphic designer, and San Luis Obispo High School alumna who served as Commissioner of Classics of SLOHS Performing Arts from 2021 to 2022.

Marks is best known as a mainstay on the SLO REP Academy of Creative Theatre stage, where she has been performing since age ten.[1] She later gained notability in 2021 when she made her SLOHS debut as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing,[2] for which she received the Iambic Pentameter Award for Best Actress in a Shakespeare Play. She would have reprised the role in the play's 2022 revival, which was canceled due to COVID-19. Marks also presented the Best Performance award at the 2021 SLOHS Film Festival with her Much Ado costar Mark Rourke.

Marks made her live debut in 2021 with the mystery-comedy Clue. Her final appearance at SLOHS was as the Wicked Witch of the West in the musical Wizard of Oz.
