The Juan Diego Advisory Board: is a consultative board, which provides guidance and support for the administration of Juan Diego Catholic High School on top initiatives of focus for the vitality of the school community and campus. Service on the Juan Diego Advisory Board is by appointment from the Juan Diego Administration and Juan Diego Advisory Board Executive Committee. The Board meets monthly during the school year, and each member participates in one or more sub-committees. Board members are asked to serve 3-year terms. Subcommittees include:
Executive Committee – sets the agenda and strategic plans for the year, and processes board member nominations for the coming year.
Finance Committee: Analyzes issues our parents/school faces in regard to finance including but not limited to tuition and general operating budgets for our school and campus. This committee will also include Annual Giving initiatives; Capital Campaigns, Major Gifts, Corporate Gifts, and Grants.
Marketing Committee: Support the marketing efforts of our school/campus through feedback on plans, recommendations, and representation. This is Inclusive of enrollment campaigns.
Community Committee: Focus on giving the Board a face in the JD community by bringing people together. Listen to existing, new, and potential community members to provide feedback to the administration.
Legislative Initiative: Focuses on current initiatives that surround School Choice and how they pertain and affect our Catholic Schools here in Utah; primarily how they affect Juan Diego and our campus. We will continue the momentum from last year's several years with this committee.
Ad hoc committees – are established periodically to study particular issues, develop long-range plans, and facilitate certain aspects of accreditation.
