Using VoiceThread In Brightspace
Your instructor’s use of VoiceThread enables you as a student to engage and interact with the course’s content in new and different ways. VoiceThread allows instructors to create content to share with you, create content for you to comment or interact with, and allows you to create your own content as part of an assigned content from your professor. You may be graded on your work in VoiceThread.
Sign in to Brightspace and go to the specific course.
Navigate to the VoiceThread in the course contents. VoiceThreads will have the VoiceThread icon next to them.
When you click on the VoiceThread, you’ll notice that a VoiceThread dialog box opens inside the Brightspace window. If your task is to watch a video, the video should appear. Depending on the settings set by the instructor, you should also be able to comment. To do this, go to the spot in the video where you want to comment and click on the plus icon in the center of the screen. Choose the type of comment (text, audio, video, file upload, or call-in). You can find assistance with specific VoiceThread tasks below.
Submitting a Watch Assignment
