Note: using Zoom media requires you to record your Zoom content to the Zoom Cloud and not to your computer.

For Past Meetings:

Zoom will allow you to search among your recent recordings to upload.

  1. Select Past Meetings and then navigate through the Previous Month folders to find the recording.

  2. Click the file you want to use and select Import in the bottom right.

  3. Once the file is uploaded, you should be brought back to the Assignment Builder screen and Step 3 of Adding Media.

  4. From here, you can add additional media or click continue in the bottom left to move on to add any Comments.

For Future Meetings

Zoom will allow you to search for upcoming, scheduled meetings that are set to be recorded. Meetings should upload to VoiceThread after they finish uploading to the Zoom cloud.

Note: we have noticed that future meetings don't always seem to work. If you attempt to set this up and get an error message, you can always go back into your VoiceThread after the Zoom recording is done and add it via the Past Meetings option.

  1. Select Future Meetings and navigate through your upcoming meetings

  2. Click on a meeting and select Import in the bottom right.

  3. Once the file is uploaded, you should be brought back to the Assignment Builder screen and Step 3 of Adding Media.

  4. From here, you can add additional media or click continue in the bottom left to move on to add any Comments.
