Instructional Technology Enhanced Classroom
From the control panel either Push button or Touch panel:
Sign into computer
Turn on the projector
Launch my.sjf.edu, from the launch pad, click on Brightspace and any other tools needed. (i.e., Google Drive, YuJa, Zoom, etc...)
Classrooms will have either push button or touch control panels. The two images below are examples.
A. Display -- press the ON or Off button to start projector. Button will flash while it is warming up or cooling down. When flashing stops projector is ready for use.
B. Volume -- adjust the volume of the selected source.
C. Pic Mute button -- hide what is being displayed
D. Source -- selecting a source will send the video of that source to the projector and the audio to speakers. Choose from PC, Apple TV, Doc Cam, and Laptop.
*Connect a laptop via the attached HDMI cable
A. Source -- selecting a source will send the video of that source to the projector and the audio to speakers. Choose from PC, Laptop, Apple TV (Doc Cam may also be a choice)
B. Dual Displays -- after selecting source choose which display (front or rear)
C. Volume - adjust the volume of the selected source.
D. Pic Mute -- hide what is being displayed (front and/or rear)
*Connect a laptop via the attached HDMI cable
Your iPad needs to be connected to SJFC-WiFi, not guest. If you are not connected:
1. Go to Settings and tap on Wifi.
2. Tap the “I” icon to the right of the guest wifi and tap forget this network.
3. Wait for the SJFC-WiFi to show up.
4. Re-enter your network credentials and tap Trust in the top right.
From the control panel, select Apple TV. If dual displays are available in your classroom, select which display you want to Send to.
From your iPad, swipe down from the top right and select Screen Mirroring.
Tap the device you want to connect to (Example: Basil 205 Apple TV).
Enter the code on the display to begin sharing.
