Using the native Mail app from your iPad along with Outlook looks different but the core functionality is there. You can create, send, and flag email messages from your iPad.
How to use Outlook on my iPad?
You can use the built-in Mail app on your iPad:
Go to Settings, tap Mail, then tap Accounts.
Tap Add Account, then select your email provider (Fisher = Microsoft Exchange).
Enter your email address and password.
Tap Next, wait for Mail to verify your account and tap Save.
Go to Settings, swipe down and tap Mail.
Swipe down and select Signature.
Enter your signature. This can be the same for all accounts or per account.
From the Mail app, tap Edit top right-hand corner of your inbox.
Select email message(s), tap at Mark, Move or Trash located at bottom of inbox.
Mark - Move to Junk, Mark as Read, and Flag email messages.
Move- allows you to move email messages to a folder.
While viewing an email list, you can swipe to move individual emails to the trash, mark as read, and more.
Slowly drag an email to the left until the menu appears, then tap an item.
Quickly use the rightmost action, Trash by swiping all the way to the left.
Swipe right to Mark as read.
