I found a video in my video resource library dated 27/09/2014 (not that long ago tbh) that had been rendered directly from Tremfusion and converted into .mp4 to conserve space, ready for editing. I seem to have forgotten it so I dug it up and uploaded it raw as-is to youtube:
After reading my annotations at the start, I remembered specifically that I was creating the video, perhaps for a user on the "New EDGE" forums or mayber an in-game user, how my initial dragoon pounces nearly reach 1000 units per second.
However I may have decided not to use it because of a TremFusion video rendering (as in writing live to a .avi) bug, which I can't remember the exact cause.
I then go proceed to fight with my bot, which seems to have been before I screwed up my source code (my current version on github is broken when I was applying /dev/humancontroller's tips on fixing another different bug that was caused by absence of client/not-client check).
During a fight the bot drops a grenade which I happen to spot before the bot died so I pressed "h" which presents my unique GREEN-AID!!! team message, then I stand on the grenade for the heck of it and die. It was just a demonstration that my bots do use grenades in combat - although they did use it in two other videos that were uploaded over two years ago (it was a feature I implemented a long time ago actually) but they weren't that noticeable in those videos since they blew up off-screen on one of them and the other video is too long and boring for people to watch.
And then I decide to end the game before the video gets carried on too long as I usually end up doing when recording... but I still ended up procastinating to *some* extent.
And yeah, that's basically what happened in the video.
You can download my visual mod that I had in this video somewhere on my website.... although I don't think it's up to date. Nag me enough and I'll update it for you. Not that I'm expecting anyone to ever post any comments on my blogs :P
