Agricultural Robotics

We have been involved in research in Agricultural Robotics and Automation since many years and have solved a lot of problems being faced by farmers.

Projects:

  • Weed Detection in Crops
  • Pest Detection in Crops
  • Disease Detection in Crops
  • Crop health monitoring
  • Crop mapping of Pakistan

We have so far produced 3 MS Theses and 2 BS Projects in this area.

We ran a 3-year project with University of Kaiserslautern, Germany from 2014-16. It was funded by DAAD Germany. The name of the project was AWeDeC (Automatic Weed Detection in Crops).

Currently, we are running another project with University of Kaiserslautern Germany from 2017-19, funded by DAAD Germany. The name of the project is DeFFAR (Detection of Fungus in Fields using Autonomous Robots).
