Some Music I Listen to While Writing

I am starting this page, January 26, 2009.

This is a page with lists of music I listen to as I write, "The Bookcase Conundrum". Not all the selections in these lists are "electronic" music. In fact, under, "Odd, Odder, Oddest," iTunes called some of the selections, "Classical" music. I have discovered a lot of this music by listening to CBC Radio 2.

I am initially putting this together with three sections. As time passes, I might put on here more sections. This is not a definitive list of my favorites. I haven't begun to put any "Country," "Classical," or other lists on here. Right now, this is all "worldly" music. I guess it would be nice to put a list of Christian music on here.

Disclaimer: I don't always know what they are singing about. I like the way the song sounds. There are times when I look the words up, only to have to delete the song because I find the words objectionable. I know song lyrics are important things. I know there are some things I don't want to go around "humming" as I go about my day. But...

"Odd, Odder, Oddest," = Music that reminds me of the eccentricities of the fictional city, of Vilinošs (

) in the fictional country of Mosdubia.

"'Romantic' Sounding," = Songs which happen to be favorites at the moment. Most of these are in the "alternative" category. Eventually there is a sort of romantic spot in my story. As far as I can tell, "The New Pornographers" aren't singing about "pornography". It just sounds like "pop" music to me.

"Eclectic Electric," = Some electronic music that I like. Some of these happen to be favorites.
