Community Involvement

Students are encouraged to do more than the required 40 hours for many reasons. This encourages civic responsibilities, promotes community values and supports career exploration. As well, many scholarships are tied into not only marks, but community involvement as well.

Getting Started Guide

Students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement as part of the requirements for their diploma.  Students are encouraged to read through the Student's Guide to Community Involvement to ensure their hours will count toward this requirement.

Community Involvement Form

When students have completed their 40 hours, they should submit their Community Involvement Activity Form signed by their supervisor(s). A signed letter from the volunteer organization is also acceptable.
