Pack meeting 12/13/15

Sunday, December 13th 3:45-5PM

The Wilmette Pack One meeting is this Sunday, December 13. We will meet at the Community Church of Wilmette at 1020 Forest Avenue. Please remind your boys to arrive at 3:45pm and we will start promptly at 4:00pm. This is an important meeting as we will have the Bobcat and Awards Ceremony. On this night we will recognize the boys that have advanced to Bobcat and the boys that have earned Belt Loops and Activity Badges. We will also hand out pinewood derby blocks, axles & wheels for the boys to construct their pinewood derby cars. The pinewood derby will be in January. Lastly, we will also announce the top popcorn sellers.

Finally, we will have open leadership positions with the pending advancement of the second year Webelos to Boys Scouts. Unfortunately, the boys' parents will also move on. The positions are some of the easier opportunities to be more involved in the Pack and help the Pack go. We really do need more parents to volunteer to make every thing happen. Please respond to this email should you have an interest in one or more of the open positions.

Advancements – keep track of the boys advancements thru the ranks (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos).

Popcorn Kernel – Organize the Popcorn Drive. This is a great way to contribute to the Pack during the month of October.

Recruitment/Membership Assistant – A great position for someone that has a boy in kindergarten.
