Fall Camp Out

Saturday October 15th-Sunday October 16th

Dear Pack Members,

I hope your school year is off to a great start. It was wonderful to see everyone at the first Pack meeting where we blasted our rockets into the sky. This email is a reminder notification for the upcoming fall camping trip. This year, we will make camp at Camp Sol Crown (11651 304th Ave, Trevor, WI 53179). Located near Wilmot, Wisconsin, Camp Crown has 146 acres of rolling hills with wooded and open areas, campsites and a heated shelter make weekend campouts a memorable experience for Scouts.

The fall camp out will take place on Saturday, October 15 (Arrive Saturday and depart Sunday). The meals for this camp out will be hamburgers and hot dogs on Saturday night and a pancake and sausage breakfast on Sunday morning. If you require an alternative, please notify me as soon as possible. Additionally, if you would like to assist with the meal preparation or clean up, please let me know. Attached to this email please find a copy of:

• The camp out Registration Form which must be completed and emailed back to me in order for you and your scout to attend the camp out.

• The camp out Roles and Expectations Form to be reviewed by parents (guardians), siblings and scouts. Please return the roles and expectations form with the registration form.

• Schedule of events.

• Camp out checklist.

• A map of Camp Sol Crown (We will make camp at the sites labeled Birch, Walnut, Chestnut, and Hickory camp sites). Each Den will be assigned a specific area.

Please reply to this email with the attached forms no later than Friday, October 7.

Registration forms can either be emailed to me at jfink@live.com or dropped in my mailbox at 834 16th Street, Wilmette by Friday, October 7th. Please do not hesitate to contact me via email or on my cell phone.
