Civil Defence

I have been involved with Civil Defence in Kaiwaka since the Community Response Group was formed back in ... was it 2011? Or earlier? Can't remember just now.

In any case, my involvement morphed with the COVID-19 pandemic into running the Kaipara Civil Defence page on Facebook, instead of working with the local group which is continuing on its good work under different leadership. As I write this (8 Apr 2020), that involves keeping an eye on a bunch of pages that are posting good content, and sharing it on the page.
