Past Chair will attend the summer retreat, quarterly IC meetings: afternoon of day 1 to report. Welcome to stay for professional development activities on morning of second day.
Incoming Chair is invited to attend the summer retreat, but is not required.
Develop work plan that enables ELC to meet IC goals
Make sure the ELC makes progress on work plan
Represent ELC as needed throughout the year
Meetings:
Around the table: Two minute time limit for sharing; write the rest. Break it up throughout the meeting into regions presenting and then the note taker can take notes on it and colleges don't have to write up ahead.
Purchase a case to store all of the audio/video equipment
eLearning Award
"How do you......." continue to do 1-2 per meeting (10-15 minutes)
Work plan/goals reflect IC goals. These topics inform the work groups /subcommittees. IC creates a draft work plan at the summer retreat, then go over it at fall eLC meeting. May have to change it based on what IC finalizes as their work plan at their fall meeting.
