Fall eLC Meeting - October 20 - 21
The eLearning Council (ELC) Professional Development Workgroup supports the growth of faculty and staff who teach and work across Washington’s community and technical colleges. We collaborate across roles, departments, and institutions to build a connected and equitable statewide professional learning community. Our work aligns with the ELC and Instruction Commission (IC) workplans and reflects the Council’s commitment to inclusive and anti-racist practices. This year, we’re partnering with the Instructional Design (ID) Interest Group to identify statewide training needs and provide high-quality professional learning opportunities.
Our goals are to:
Expand access to high-quality professional development that advances equitable teaching, learning, assessment, and educational technology practices across Washington’s 34 community and technical colleges.
Develop high-quality training and shared resources that strengthen college capacity to support faculty professional development.
Recognize and share innovative eLearning practices that colleges can adopt and adapt.
