Aditya Khokhar

Aditya completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar in 2013 post which he went for his MBA at IIM Indore. During his years at Ropar Aditya had keen interest in the area of renewable sources of energy and technological innovations which can meet the growing needs of modern world. On the same lines as part of his final year project Aditya explored the usage of solar energy for purifying water under the co-supervision of Dr. H. Tyagi and Dr. Harpreet Singh.

Ahsaas Sharma

Ahsaas graduated from IIT Ropar in 2020 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He did his final year BTP project under supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi on optimization of fractal channel Heat sinks. He did his summer internship from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where he analyzed the performance of tin slag when recycled with reinforced polymer concrete carbon fiber composites. He is also the founder and ex-president of DebSoc, the debating society of IIT Ropar and has served as the mentor to Finance and Consultancy club. Akshat Pandey

Akshat graduated from IIT Ropar in 2015 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. His research interests during his undergraduate days included renewable energy sciences and fluid mechanics. Akshay Rathore

Akshay graduated from IIT Ropar in 2019 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. His final year B.Tech project was on the topic "Water purification through Membrane Distillation using Solar Thermal Energy" under the guidance of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. He did his summer internship in KU Leuven, Belgium. He has also published a journal papers in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and ASME Journal of Thermal Science and Engineering Applications. Dr. Ashwanth Kumar Reddy Salibindla

Ashwanth graduated from IIT Ropar in 2013 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He was chosen as research intern to spend 1 month at University of Aston, UK and worked on a project 'Solar mechanical salt water desalination' under the co-supervision of Dr. Philip Davies and Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. His B.Tech Project work under the supervision of Dr. H. Devesh Singh

Devesh received B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar in 2020. His research interest lies in the field of Heat and Mass Transfer and Sustainable energy solutions. He completed his B.Tech project under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi on the topic 'Optimization of fractal channel heat sinks'. Harshjyot Singh

Nikhil Jalan

Nikhil obtained B.Tech degree in 2020 from IIT Ropar, in the field of Mechanical Engineering. His research interest lie in the field of heat and mass transfer and designing. Nitin Singhal

Nitin graduated from IIT Ropar in 2012 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. In his final year project he worked to simulate and optimize a solar based cooling system under the supervision of Dr. H. Tyagi. The unique aspect of this system was that it utilized direct absorption of solar energy using nanofluids. After his 2nd year of studies Nitin was chosen as research intern and spent about a month at University of Aston, UK working in collaboration with Dr. Geoffrey Tansley and studied the biofluid mechanics aspects during the design and manufacture processes of medical devices. He was also a part of the first contingent that represented IIT Ropar at 44th Inter IIT Sports Meet at IIT Madras held in 2008. Nitin is presently working as product manager at Walmart Labs.

Dr. Sankarshan Verma

Shalabh Singh

Shalabh completed his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in 2017. His areas of interest include multiphase flows, heat exchanger analysis, CFD, and engineering optimization. With keen interest in astronomy, he represented IIT Ropar at the Inter IIT Tech Meet in 2015. His interest in AI, led him towards working on his own startup Aspiro where he is trying to help sales guys do better conversations with their customers. Somyanshu Arora

Somyanshu graduated from IIT Ropar in 2014 with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He was an awardee of Director Gold Medal and Institute Silver Medalist. As a student at IIT Ropar, he was awarded the DAAD WISE Scholarship-2013 to work at University of Kiel, Germany under the aegis of Dr. Jeffrey McCord. In February 2012 he was chosen for the Summer Research Fellowship Programme-2012 by Indian Academy of Sciences and worked under the supervision of Dr. Indradev Samajdar, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in May-July 2012 for the same.
