Dheeraj Chamoli

Dheeraj received M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Thermal Sciences) from IIT Ropar in 2022. He carried work in the field of membrane distillation during his M.Tech, under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. Previously he has obtained B.Tech degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) Kerala in the year 2015-2019. His research interest is in solar thermal engineering and water desalination. He is currently working as Market Expansion Associate, at Classplus.

Gunjan Gupta

Gunjan has completed B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from U.P. Technical University (2012-16). Her research interests lie in the field of solar thermal engineering and photocatalysis. She was representative of Pehchaan ek safar, an NGO at IIT Ropar. She was also a member of UNDEKHA, a dramatics club of IIT Ropar. She joined obtained M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Thermal Sciences) from IIT Ropar in 2021, under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. After graduating she joined Larsen & Toubro Power. Currently she is working as Associate Software Engineering at Dassault Systemes.

Hemabh Trivedi

Hemabh has completed his Bachelors from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) in Manufacturing Engineering in 2017. During his coursework, he developed interest in area of thermal engineering and renewable energy. Subsequently, he obtained M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in thermal engineering) from IIT Ropar in 2020. During his masters he worked under the guidance of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi in the area of multi-dimensional solar collectors and their design. Jarapala Sridivya Nandini

Jarapala Sridivya Nandini obtained M .Tech degree (2021-23) with a specialization in Thermal & Fluids Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Punjab, under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. She obtained her B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University College of Engineering for Women, Andhra Pradesh (2017 -2021). KVS Teja

Teja obtained an M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Sciences) from IIT Ropar in 2020. Prior to that, he has completed his B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (Rajasthan) in 2017. During his masters he worked on the topic of “Temperature regulation and heat transfer in termite mounds” for his thesis under the guidance of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. His areas of research interest are heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics and solar thermal engineering. After graduating he worked as Engineering Analyst at TimeTooth Technologies Pvt. Ltd, before joining Syracuse University, New York, USA as a PhD student.

Parth Patil

Parth obtained B.Tech-M.Tech dual-degrees in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar in 2020. His research interests lie in the field of solar thermal engineering and sustainable energy solutions. He pursued his M.Tech project on the topic "Solar thermal energy storage using phase change materials (PCM)" under the guidance of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. He did his summer research internship at Jadavpur University on "Rectangular natural circulation loop". He was a member of Arturo: Photography club of IIT Ropar. In 2021, he joined the research group of Dr. Sushant Anand (Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) at University of Illinois at Chicago, USA, as a PhD student.

Swapnil Salvi holds B.Engg. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University (2016) and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar (2018). His M.Tech. thesis was titled 'Numerical Analysis of Phase Change Materials for use in Energy Efficient Buildings'. He worked in the field of heat transfer and its applications such as energy efficient buildings under the supervision of Dr. Himanshu Tyagi. After graduating from IIT Ropar, Swapnil completed his PhD from Dr. Ankur Jain's research group at University of Texas at Arlington, USA.
