From the College Board:
The AP Physics 1 and 2 Exams include a new multiple-select, multiple-choice question type with two correct answers, both of which students must identify to earn credit. There are five of these questions and they appear at the end of the multiple-choice section.
The AP Physics 1 and 2 Exams include a question that asks students how they would design an experiment, collect data, and discover sources of uncertainty. Learn more about the depth of understanding of experimental uncertainty (.pdf/72KB) that will be assessed on the exams.
The AP Physics 1 and 2 Exams include several free-response questions, one of which will require students to compose a paragraph-length argument as part of their response. Learn more about what a paragraph-length response (.pdf/71KB) is and how it will be scored.
The equation tables that were published in the AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 Course and Exam Description have been revised to provide complete definitions of symbols (.doc/106KB). Please disregard the equation tables in the current version of the course and exam description, and instead refer to these revised equation tables:
AP Physics 1 Equation Tables (.pdf/187KB), AP Physics 2 Equation Tables (.pdf/308KB)
