Inside my bosom an enthralled heart

Flutter with feminine sensibilities.

Save to be wedded to a wheel chair?

A piece of static sky through my window.

Now I see its unfolding vastness

Its changing colours and different moods.

When you stand beside, each atom

In me tides toward you and I wish

To leap out, stand firm on my feet,

Put arm around your neck and rub

My temples on your ears and press

My trembling lips on your wondering eyes.

Dear, my weltered legs covered in silken

Socks and baby shoes, when you fondle

I struggle Hard to hold back my tears.

In the depth of the ocean of my eyes

You will find no fireflies of fishes.

There are only black flowers of coral

Of perennial sorrow sedimented.

Dear grasp my hands together,

Kiss on my frail and pale fingers!

Let melody of syllables vibrate

Through my finger tips and let me

Pen a poem on lilies laughing

In your eyes and heart spilling love for me!
