Even if you (as a teacher or student) do not yet have the TI-Nspire CX CAS, you can enjoy this
"What is Calculus" interactive activity using the TI-Nspire Player ... as long as you have an internet connection.
This activity is quick enough that you will still have time for other day 1 explorations, like Paul Foerester's automatic door closure, or the Local Linearity Discovery activity on the TI-Nspire Clickpad or the Local Linearity Discovery for the TI-Nspire CX that was just posted on our group's tns files.
Most of the files that were shared at the Calculus focused webex User Group meeting on July 19, 2012, are in the Calculus folder on our TI-Nspire Group Website. https://sites.google.com/site/tinspiregroup/assignments
The Primer - "TI-Nspire CX CAS primer (especially for TI-83/84 users)" - is at the top of my TI-Nspire calculus website http://covenantchristian.org/bird/Nspire.html
