There was a question about graphing a derivative of a given function on the TI-NSpire CX (non-CAS).
This is one of the reasons I prefer the TI-Nspire over the TI-84 or 89. A graph of the derivative appears so much faster. And yes it can be done the same way on the TI-Nspire as on the TI-Nspire CAS or TI-Nspire CX CAS, etc.
As you can see from the image below this was done by simply entering d/dx(f1(x), where the d/d_ template is found with the rest of the math templates (like absolute value and piecewise). The math template button is to the right of 9.
I like to use the SHIFT - (minus sign) shortcut for the derivative template, and ^ (carot) with an number after it while I'm in the derivative template to make a higher order derivative.
