Richard Utz is Chair & Professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His scholarship centers on medievalism, the interconnections between humanistic inquiry and science/technology, reception study, and the formation of cultural memories and identities. He is the author and (co)editor of 19 book-length publications and currently serves as President of the International Society for the Study of Medievalism and editor of the review journal Medievally Speaking.
