PBL A MOOC 2016
This is my collection of readings, materials and my learning Diary about PBL and the MOOC I took.
The course is a European MOOC : the provider is an interesting European project that aims at training teachers - " Teacher Academy"
http://www.schooleducationgateway.eu/en/pub/teacher_academy.htm
It started on 6th June and it continued for 4 weeks: I had already heard about this term as in some MOOCs PBL and 21st Century Skills have always been connected.
While working on new web 2.0 tools I was said that PBL is enhanced by using GOOGLE tools. In some ways I have done some PBL too as I have asked my students to work from home on some projects, they were simple tasks but I had chosen a new way for working.

MY LEARNING DIARY JUNE-JULY 2016
Here is my diary, I used padlet but I might also integrate it with some more links and information about other useful tools online which can help me write about this experience online. This is the link to the diary online which was created from the first week:
The weeks were engaging and I appreciated the idea of sharing materials, checking the projects of other teachers and learners, I also discovered the opportunities of working with etwinning.
Here are some interesting videos and documents which I think are worth checking and provide food for thought.
THE TOOLS
I used the tool named Learning Designer to plan the activities for my project. It is easy to use and you learn how to plan activities step by step with the time schedule.
This is the tutorial about how it works:

I carried out my research online about tools which we need to use to work in PBL activities. I was sent the link to this great presentation and I am sharing it with you. Tools can enhance our work and the activities which we need for PBL.

After working on the project for 4 weeks we spent the last days working on assessment and how to create rubrics.
Week 4 was engaging and interesting as we could watch a webinar about PBL where the learners shared their ideas about their experience and showed also what they had done and learnt. It was nice experience which you can see in the padlet I have created online.
Here I have uploaded the documents in pdf which they shared and which I will check later...........so many interesting things........
Not only have we learnt how to plan a project, we have also learnt about more tools, new ideas about the best ways for approaching PBL.
Thanks to the tutor and all the learners who made such a great effort in the four weeks. It was an example of great learners who collaborated and made good PBLs.
