2nd September 2015
Coursera has just started a MOOC about DIGITAL STORYTELLING. This is a new course for me as I have heard about Digital Storytelling but I have never used it in my classes.
WHAT IS DIGITAL STORYTELLING?
"....is the act of using computer-based tools (desktops, laptops, tablets, cameras. and even smartphones) to tell a story. Used in the classroom, it is a lens that teachers and students can use to master the craft of storytelling and argumentative analysis. Digital storytelling might incorporate anything from storyboarding to script writing, revision, production and further editing."

I have been given plenty of ideas just to start with.
This is the link to the site we have been working on:
I searched the web and found these interesting presentations online: I was looking for something for TEFL and ESL teachers but I came across genaral information about it.

A guide on Youtube from WeVideo:
I tried to see some presentations online to understand the value of the use of tools to present stories: most of the videos were on the Youtube channel but there interesting tools like Storybird and others that can be used with children or younger learners. I could see nice stories based on what we have been doing on the course on line.
Stories can be different but I liked the personal involvement of many presenters of stories:
Littlebirdtales is for younger learners but it is a nice tool.
