(to the tune of “Do You Think I’m Sexy” by Rod Stewart)
She sits alone, besot by ego-clinging
Writing lyrics – what silly songs she’s singing
This is the root of all that makes her suffer
Not making use of what Dharma has to offer
If I cut my body and invite some demons
Will they make a feast of me?
I’ll cut through attachment, and I’ll realize no self
Then I can be truly free
