Sherkin Island Regatta details announced

Message from Sherkin Island Regatta organisers:

Sherkin Island Regatta will take place on July 13^th 2014. The races will commence at 14.00. The running order of races is as follows. U12 mixed; U14 Boys; U14 Girls; U16 Mixed;U18 Mixed; Pre Vet Mixed; Senior Mixed; Ladies; Men’s. Races from U12 – U16 will have winners, second and third prizes. All other races will winners only prizes for Senior Ladies and Men Club of the Day.

Tea, coffee, soft drinks, sandwiches and nice nibbles will be available on the pier. We will have a super family fun field located 50 yards from the pier. This will be full of games, face paints and balloons. At 16.00 kids running races will commence followed by a karaoke competition.

Sherkin Regatta has a long standing tradition of a being fun family regatta. We welcome all of you to enjoy this unique setting and enjoy a great day of racing for all the family.
